Central Hawke's Bay District

The above photo is typical of the rugged Central Hawke's Bay coastline that Captain Cook encountered on his first circumnavigation of the North Island.

The Central Hawke's Bay is a relatively untouched region that has shown significant growth over recent years and is well placed for larger gains yet.

Central Hawke's Bay is nestled between the rugged Ruahines and its equally dramatic coastline with pristine Trout fishing rivers crossing the divide. The region contributes largely to the economic and aesthetic wealth of the Hawke's Bay and is a common retreat for those seeking a more laid back lifestyle. The relative proximity of towns such as Waipawa and Waipukurau to Hastings and Napier has resulted in more commuters taking advantage of the more affordable housing.

The Central Hawkes Bay District Council reflects the helpful nature of the locals and encourages development through the guidelines of their District Plan which is brought to you by the following link http://www.chbdc.govt.nz/plans_and_policies/district_plan/.

Of course if any of these links generate new questions or it is "all a bit too much" please feel free to contact us for professional advice at 0800 TO SURVEY (0800 86 78 78) choosing the appropriate region or email us.

Come and meet Brian Foote who mans the Central Hawke's bay office in Waipukurau, generally every Thursday, so give him a call and arrange an appointment at the office or at your property.

Here is our office location on this map and will be able to find us inside this building:
