GPS Surveys
This survey was perfectly designed for GPS in that it was in a very remote location, over an extensive area and involved the collection of large amounts of data. The survey was initiated to collect ground topography data to assist with the design of a new private hydro scheme. Conventional surveying would have made this an extremely expensive exercise.
