The property this 64.49 ha covenant was placed over is located in Ruatoria, Gisborne. The vegetation the covenant protects is primarily podocarp beech forest and the countryside rises to near-vertical in some places, making access extremely challenging. The only access into this survey was on horseback and even that was a struggle in some places!
